DAY 01: Cochin- Munnar ( 140 kms- 4 hours)
On arrival at Cochin airport you are met  and escorted to your vehicle. 

Leave for Munnar (140 Kms / 04 Hrs)- Kerala`s prettiest hill resort located in the Kannan Devan Hills.Munnar is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams -  1600 m above sea level, this hill station was the summer resort of the British Government in South India.

Sprawling tea plantations, picture-book towns, winding lanes and holiday facilities make Munnar a popular hill station.

On arrival at Munnar check into your hotel.Evening at leisure.

Overnite Munnar.

 

DAY 02: Munnar Local Sightseeing
After breakfast , a  full day sightseeing trip of Munnar covering - Mattupetty Lake & Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake,  Rajamalai - offering a spectacular view and home of Nilgiry Tahr , the very rare mountain goat.

 Later you can optionally choose to visit a tea plantation to see the process of making the brew that cheers !  

Shop for some souveniers and teas and return to hotel.Evening at leisure. 

Overnite Munnar.

 

Day 03: Munnar  - Thekkady &  Sightseeing   ( 120 km-4 hours)
After a leisurely breakfast , leave for Thekkady (120 kms / 4 Hrs).

Check into your hotel.

Thekkady is one of India’s most fascinating natural wildlife sanctuaries , where you can watch wildlife at close range .

Checkin to hotel and later leave for a boat cruise at the  Periyar Reserve Forest. A cruise on the  the waters of the Periyar lake around which the wild-life sanctuary is an enjoyable experience and you get to see herds of tuskers, elephants, deers, bisons,gaurs ,crocodiles and exotic species of birds. 

Later return to hotel and you can shop for some exotic spices at Kumily closeby.

Overnite Thekkady.

 

Day 04: Thekkady
Today you can enjoy a boat cruise early morning as that is the best time to spot wild animals at Periyar Forest.

Return to hotel for breakfast and later a day to relax and enjoy resort facilities or choose to take an optional spice plantation tour on own  or enjoy some jungle activities as elephant ride// trekking/ canoeing/ bamboo rafting etc. 

The hotel will be pleased to assist you with this.

Overnight Thekkady.

 

Day 05: Thekkady- Kumarakom  ( 145 kms-4 hours)
Today after breakfast, leave for leave for  Kumarakom (145 Kms / 4 Hrs).

On arrival at Kumarakom. check in to your resort/ hotel on the shores of the enchanting Lake .
