HILLS & BACKWATERS 3 Days ( MUNNAR/ KUMARAKOM)

DAY 01   :  Cochin- Munnar ( 140 kms- 4 hours)
On arrival at Cochin airport you are met  and escorted to your vehicle. 

Leave for Munnar (140 Kms / 04 Hrs)-Keralas prettiest hill resort located in the Kannan Devan Hills.

Munnar is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams -  1600 m above sea level, this hill station was the summer resort of the British Government in South India. Sprawling tea plantations, picture-book towns, winding lanes and holiday facilities make Munnar a popular hill station.

On arrival at Munnar check into your hotel.

Later  you leave for  sightseeing of Munnar covering - Mattupetty Lake & Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake & Topstation.

DAY 02 : Munnar to houseboat at Kumarakom/Alleppey ( 132 kms- 4 hours)
Today morning after breakfast at hotel and you leave for the backwaters at Kumarakom.

Kumarakom town famous for its beautiful backwaters and beautiful houseboats popularly called kettuvalams, an experience unique to Kerala. 

Check into a houseboat that will take you through the sleepy backwaters of Kerala.

Enjoy nature as your  houseboat cruises by charming villages, lush green paddy fields and other scenic delights.

Stay overnight in your houseboat besides enjoying the best food in a traditional way.

Day 03 Kumarakom to Cochin ( 48 kms-2 hours)
Today morning after breakfast you are dropped to the jetty point where your car awaits you.

You  leave for Cochin and enjoy half day sightseeing of Fort Kochi, covering the Jewish synagogue, Dutch Palace & the Chinese Fishing nets.

Lunch and leave for the airport to board your return flight.
