Day 01 of your itinerary involves a 158 km drive from Cochin to Thekkady, which takes around 4.5 to 5 hours. Upon arrival, you can stop for lunch at a local restaurant on your own. Thekkady is a natural wildlife sanctuary that is home to a wide range of wildlife, including elephants, tigers, crocodiles, and exotic birds. After checking in at your resort, you can take a spice plantation tour to experience the local spices grown in the region. On Day 02, you'll leave early in the morning for Periyar National Park, where you can take a boat cruise at the Periyar Reserve Forest to see herds of elephants, deer, bison, crocodiles, and exotic bird species. The cruise needs to be booked in advance at an additional cost, and assistance for the same can be provided. After the cruise, return to the hotel for breakfast, checkout, and proceed back to Cochin. You'll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport.
